Buffalo Sushi – Sakura

Sakura Beer
Sakura Menu
Happy Sakura

While Sakura on Union Road isn’t technically in Buffalo proper, it definitely has the spirit of Buffalo!

Don’t be afraid when you see Sakura in a little strip mall.  The good stuff is on the inside!

Normally, you’ll be immediately greeted by one of the nicest smiley-est women you’ll ever meet.  Nancy is always more than happy to give you a super warm and loving sushi experience.

The spicy eel salad and spicy tuna tartar were amazing.  We kind of went overboard and got a ton of fusion rolls as well as some old standby’s.  (I’m still a sucker for spicy Tuna and the occasional Tobiko sushi piece)

Prices are nearly the exact same as any other Buffalo Sushi place.  Handrolls run just around $5 while the larger fusion rolls run between $10 and $20.

We all left full and completely complacent!  We will definitely be coming back and hopefully I’ll make the photo wall next time!

  1. How do I contact you about an event I run? thanks.

  2. Outstanding! Once big fans of Kuni’s when he was on Elmwood. Now, my wife and I are even bigger fans of Joey (Hyun) and Nancy’s Sakura Sushi, behind the Galleria on Union Road. He specializes in Fusion Rolls and always has something new and creative on the menu. Portions are satisying the restaurant is truly immaculate the ambience is relaxing. Oh yeah, the food is first rate. The friendliness and charm of everyone who works there will have you hooked. Your treated like family!

  3. u will never wanna eat shredded radish and wasabi in Sakura suchi, Buffalo. The owner ( The sushi chief) reuse any left-over (wasabi/radish) over n over until the original color go really bad. Plesase don’t eat shredded radish
