Buffalo Hardscaping

Hot Buffalo’s second article in our series about local businesses and startups is a bit on the dirty side.  Dirty as soil, stone, sweat and bricks.

We would like to welcome Northeastern Exteriors.  Northeastern Exteriors isn’t your normal “Landscaping” business.  Northeastern Exteriors specializes in “Hardscaping”.

For those of us less well informed (like myself) Hardscape, or "hardscaping" consists of the inanimate elements of landscaping, especially any masonry work or woodwork. For instance, stone walls, concrete or brick patios, tile paths, wooden decks and wooden arbors would all be considered part of the hardscape.  Anything used in landscaping that is not part of the softscape can be considered a hardscape element, including home accents such as water fountains.

While pink flamingoes, lawn gnomes and gazing orbs could be considered hardscape, you won’t find that kind of thing here.

Most expect and will find such materials as flagstones, boulders, cobblestone, old bricks and river rock.  However you will also find that N.E. Exteriors can provide reclaimed or natural fencing, barn & farm equipment as well as anything new.  Basically, if it is an outside creation, Northeastern Exteriors provides does it.

Northeastern Exteriors specializes in “Reusing” and “Reclaiming”.  While this is not mandatory for any project, many people want history with their house and businesses.  Age old barn wood is a prime example.  Old bricks from a previous Western New York house add nostalgia.  Old broken flag stone sidewalks make perfect smaller walkways that you can’t buy new.

It takes vision, sweat and time to create truly original outdoor experiences.  Northeastern Exteriors does just that.  If you’re serious about increasing your property value or doing one for the environment or just want a yard/land you enjoy, contact Northeastern Exteriors right now before spring.
