There is only one pub crawl remaining in the 2008 Greater Buffalo Pub Crawl Series.  This is the Allen St Pub Crawl.  It is a festive crawl to coincide with the Holiday season.

Being the Holiday season is a time of giving, it only follows that we should have a philanthropic aspect to the crawl and give to those less fortunate and/or in need.  This year, we have selected the Friends of Night People (www.friendsofnightpeople.com) as our beneficiary.

The Friends of Night People was established in 1969.  Their mission is to heighten public understanding of homelessness and poverty issues…to provide basic and essential support services.  They provide meals, clothing, medical care, counseling and hope to homeless of Buffalo.  Through the end of September, they have served over 44,000 meals.

Typically, we ask that you make a cash donation when you arrive at the crawl.  The amount is entirely up to you.  Most people give $5; some give more.
With the end of the year, come the Holidays.  Everyone is busy with the hustle and bustle that comes with the season.  Because of this, we will start this crawl a little later than the rest.  This should allow everyone the necessary time to get their shopping and other errands completed before heading down to Allen St. for the party.  Some of you may even decide to do your shopping in the Elmwood Village or Allentown so that you are close by for the crawl.

Now, as tradition holds (we have never had the same schedule twice), another unique Allen St schedule for 2008:

3pm-4pm Mulligan’s Brick Bar (Allen St between College and Mariner)
4pm-5pm Nietzche’s (Allen St. near College St)
