Back in July we noted that a sign was posted on the old National Casket Company stating that “Allentown Lofts” were coming in the Winter/Spring of 09.

Buffalo Rising said back in August that construction would begin in late August. (BR Link)  Unfortunately they weren’t correct.

So why the wait?  Like all big real estate investors, they’d rather do the work with your money.  Our sources say that Kissling was waiting for a grant.  We’re not sure if they received it or not, but a decision was made on the grant either way.

The construction crew had successfully removed all the black top from out side the garage and has since began digging the start of what should be underground parking.

This is a very exciting thing indeed.
