Is this the beginning of greater things?

I am true believer in the great city of Buffalo, not that I have always felt this way but the more I learn about the city and explore it the more I love it.  I do not live in the city but frequent it whenever possible to discover more of it.

This past Tuesday I biked from Colden to the newly revived Erie Canal Harbor.  I did not stay long enough to look at everything but long enough to take a few pictures.  This is not the first time I biked there but the point I would like to make is that each time I stop by, there appears to be a constant flow of people looking at the site.  The first time I was there the crowd was mixed, young and old.  This time, probably because it was a weekday, it was mostly an older crowd.  Either way I look as this development as a hopeful beginning of more development for the waterfront.  Waterfront property is a precious asset for any city and I hope for more development to this great city and get Buffalo back on  the map.
