So the oldest tree in Buffalo may be dying.  I first noticed this when driving down Franklin Street.  My dear old buddy had no leaves!

Now I’m no treehugger, but this guy is special. Let’s give him a name.  “Fran Klin” works.

Fran the tree has a fungus infection.  He is being treated with fungicide but we won’t know for several weeks if it works.

We don’t know what will happen to dear Mr. Klin but try sending some good karma his way.
