200 Delaware – Added Glass
By hotbuffalo on Sunday, June 15, 2008
I took a little walk from my Edward Street residence and walked the 2 blocks or so down to Spot on Chippewa. Ironically, now that I’m 30, I find myself feeling more at home on Chippewa in the afternoon than at 2 O’clock in the morning. …but I digress.
Great progress has been made on 200 Delaware Avenue, the former Dulski Building. The old concrete panels have been removed for some time. Also flame retardant coating has been placed on some of the metal structure. More recently though, the building has started to get it’s biggest cosmetic improvement, glass.
This building will consist of 7 floors of Hotel rooms from Embassy Suites, Floors 8 through 12 will be Class A offices. The 14th, 15th and 16th floors will be luxury residential condos in the $300,000 – $1,000,000+ range. (Note we skipped the 13th floor because buildings skip this number)
The job is estimated to cost $65 Million.
