Oldest Tree in Buffalo

Buffalo has a secret little treasure near the corner of Franklin and Edward.  It is the oldest tree in Buffalo.  Originally, the tree was estimated to be 250 years old by the Buffalo Lumber Exchange, but this happened way back in 1960.  So the tree is actually closer to 300 years old.  This tree, that sits in Buffalo, in between the sidewalk and road is older than the United States government.
