Buffalo Sabres Theme Song (ORIGINAL)

By Me on Tuesday, June 13, 2006

Here is a classic from the Buffalo Sabres days back in the Aud. It is known as the Sabre Dance or as Dance of the Sabres. It was a great tune to listen to as the Sabres took the ice. I would really enjoy some “throwback” games where the Sabres play this old-school theme song.

Listen to the Sabre Dance HERE.

Now I believe this is OK to post here. However if this ends up being copywritted material I will take it down.

  1. This music gave me goosebumps, I can almost picture the French Connection streaking down the ice! Me and my younger brother had a dance go along along with this.

  2. I HATE THIS SONG! IT BELONGS IN A CIRCUS. I PICTURE CLOWNS AND MONKEYS CHASING EACH OTHER. IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN FINE BACK IN THE 70′s – KEEP IT THERE! IT’S LAME NOW! SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE, GET A NEW SONG – IT’S EMBARRASING. OTHER TEAMS HAVE SUCH BETTER THINGS GOING ON (SONGS, SOUND EFFECTS AT PUCK DROP OF EACH PERIOD, GIVE-AWAYS (FIRST SO MANY FANS), HOT CHICKS CLEARING ICE IN BETWEEN PERIODS…) I HATE THE “SABRE DANCE” SONG !!!!!!!

  3. Best hockey theme song bar none!
