You’ve probably passed by Flappy’s on Delaware, close to Chippewa, a hundred times. On St. Patty’s Day you may have even went inside to use their bathroom. This place is a pretty good hangout bar and is an ideal place to meet up if you are going to other bars as there is no cover and is RARELY crowded.

What is really great about this place is that Wednesday nights they have a lineup of comics. Some are alright, others aren’t even close. However, it might be the nervous beginners which are the best to watch. They become funny simply by not being funny. You have to give them credit regardless. Public speaking is one of the most nerve racking things and this is their start. Who knows you could meet a future minor celebrity and be able to tell your friends that you remember them when they used to stink and have to do free standups at Flappy’s.
